Species sighted: striped dolphins, gulls

The whale watching excursion started with the sun, but the wind was persistent for the whole day. After having traveled the submarine canyon of Polcevera, the Corsara motor ship crossed the route of some striped dolphins. Some individuals approached by jumping and doing stunts. But shortly after we realized that the group was more numerous, even if it didn’t swim compactly. Several smaller groups were gradually sighted and they tended to approach the vessel. During the return then, about twenty seagulls escorted the passengers to the entrance to the ancient port of Genoa.
