Species sighted: Pelagic Kittiwake, Moonfish and Striped Dolphins

While the strong winds have limited our search a bit, the sightings have been exciting nonetheless. The first was a sunfish standing on the surface to be “cleaned up” by the numerous gulls intent on feeding on the parasites that find a home on its skin. The second, a group of striped dolphins made up of about thirty individuals between adults and young people who have not failed to interact with our boat with jumps and surf on the waves.
